How We Use This Data:
Phone numbers are sent to our servers solely to check if they match existing SuperNova user accounts. This enables the "Find Friends" feature that shows you which of your contacts are already on SuperNova.
We do not:
- Store your contacts' phone numbers permanently
- Use contact data for marketing or advertising
- Share contact data with third parties
- Create profiles of non-users
Your Control:
- Contact access requires your explicit permission
- You can deny or revoke access anytime in your device Settings
- The app functions fully without contact access (you can search for friends manually instead)

- Enable you to create and share Voice Threads and messages
- Send you notifications about friend activity and replies
- Respond to your comments and questions
- Monitor and analyze usage trends

3. Data Retention and Deletion
Privacy by Design: SuperNova is built with privacy at its core. We implement automatic data deletion as a fundamental feature:
Voice Threads: Automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours
Chat Messages: Automatically deleted from our servers after 30 days
No Permanent Storage: We do not maintain backups or archives of deleted content
Account information is retained until you delete your account. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except as required by law.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Your Consent: When you direct us to share information with others
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in operating our App
